VISITOR VISA SUBCLASS 600
This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment.The applicant needs to meet the following criteria, he must
- Have intentions only visit Australia temporarily
- not work unlawfully
- not engage in studies or training for more than 3 months
- have, or have access to, adequate means to support themselves during the period of the visit so that they do not need to access
- leave Australia on or before their visa ceases, unless he makes a valid application to stay for a longer period to the benefit of Australia
- meet Public Interest Criteria
You cannot include your family members in your application. Each family membermust submit a separate application.
FIRST WORKING HOLIDAY VISA SUBCLASS 417
This visa allows young people from a certain country to holiday and work in Australia for up to a year for those who:
- hold a passport from an eligible country
- be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) – except for Canadian, French and Irish citizens who can be 18 to 35 (inclusive)
- apply online from outside Australia
- not have previously entered Australia on a subclass 417 or 462 visa.
SECOND WORKING HOLIDAY VISA SUBCLASS 417
To apply for second working holiday visa, you must
- have previously entered Australia on a subclass 417 visa.
- hold a passport from an eligible country
- be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) – except for Canadian, French and Irish citizens who can be 18 to 35 (inclusive)
- have completed 3 months of specified subclass 417 work
WORK AND HOLIDAY VISA SUBCLASS 462
This visa allows people from a certain country to holiday and work in Australia for up to a year and can be extended if the applicant meets the eligibility. Your country needs to be a part of the listed countries for the purpose of this visa. You can apply for first work and holiday visa from outside Australia. Second and third work and holiday visa can be applied from Australia if you meet the certain requirements for these visas.
